Hi,
I cannot call, text, receive calls or top up while travelling and I need to make an important call.
+44 800 079 8586 When I call this number it is telling me my account has been barred.

Did you use that SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad?
PAYG is auto enabled for roaming. You don't need to change anything. If outside EU, do you have enough credit for making calls & texts from abroad?
