Roaming calls in Turkey

Hi, I bought a subscription pack and I'm in Turkey but I'm getting charged big for receiving calls. The pack says I get unlimited minutes and texts.. but I'm guessing that's for Local calls? Anyway how can I make a deal for receiving calls abroad without getting that much charged...Thanks

Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly, and which specific pack have you bought? Most likely you're asking about a pack for UK-originated calls

Turkey is not in the EU, all roaming usage there is chargeable at the rates set out at https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/turkeyandnortherncyprus

PAYG packs are only useable in the EU. Turkey is not in EU.

No, As it is not in EU, you cannot use your usual UK allowances there but will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as set out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/turkeyandnortherncyprus > PAYG.

Hi, yes I'm talking about receiving calls from the UK because I'm a phone interpreter and this has really affected my work. I bought the pay as you go £15 pack. I don't know what to do or what's best for receiving calls from UK without getting that much charged

Receiving calls are charged at £1.80 per minute, you would need credit to make and receive calls in Turkey the pack is for UK usage only.

Is there any way I could get a plan for my case? Other that have to top up credit. Is there any way or deals just so I could receive work calls as it's a lot of calla during the day

Add-ons are listed on the PAYG roaming costs link posted previously in this thread at 1:56pm & 2:51pm

There is nothing offered for PAYG users in Turkey, only pay-monthly customers.

Get them to text you instead. They are free to receive worldwide.
