Roaming bandwidth

Why is it that when in Europe as soon as I start to stream video my connection hangs?

i believe ee are limiting bandwidth when roaming.

by believe I mean know

They definitely do choke roaming bandwidth.

Speedtest gives a good result but as soon as you stream video it hangs.

using different network on 4g gives a better result but I’m paying £2/day for that one

Which countries & networks are you experiencing this with?

Movistar in various locations in Spain.

Movistar seems to be the default for ee. And it’s not possible to select a different network manually.

in each case I have compared with another phone not on ee which has worked perfectly.
