Roaming Charges

I'm off to Portsmouth on Sunday night and will be getting on the boat Santander (hopefully) on Monday night. I have been on to EE and paid for roaming. It's turned on and waiting to connect. Do I have to go into settings and choose a network or will my Android just do it's own thing. If I do, what is the best network to select and how do I know I have made the right choice and won't be charged more. I might also like to add that EE were £2 a day for roaming. Or £10 for the whole month which was an absolute bargain in comparrison to other sites. I was informed that one of the network providers were milking there loyal customers to the tune of £6 a day.

Hi @Pedders59

I would make sure roaming and international calls are activated on your account via your EE app or online before you travel. (Just to be sure).

You also might need to restart your device when you arrive or activate,deactivate flight mode to reconnect to the network.

Thanks

@Northerner

Thanks for your help. Everyone is so helpful. I guess we all have a common interest unlike Twitter & Facebook.
