I recently received a text saying I had a number of reward points. I am wondering if this was genuine or a scam?

Hi I had the same text, trying to check it with EE, personally think it’s a scam but you never know. I went through choosing a reward then it asked for payment for postage, I stopped there, will update if I manage to get through to EE

@Jim711326 , @Nic5555 : It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link in order to access your a/c.

Does it have a link in it that it tells you to click? Don't go there but what was the link?

Report spam texts to your network provider by forwarding the text to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).
