Retrieve a mobile number

Hi,

I have recently gotten out of a family contract and the person in charge didn't inform me when the switch was taking place so I have now lost the ability to use my phone like a phone without wifi. I was wondering, seeing as I now must switch to my new network, if there was a way I could get my mobile number back as the contract has only been changed for 3 days.

Thanks,

Shannon

The account holder for the number could request for it to be re-activated, then request a PAC code for you, @sjayne. You would then give that code to your new provider and your number will port over the next working day. This would involve them having to pay for another month's service though.

@sjayne   If that contract has been terminated then unfortunately it’s not possible to move the number as it’s longer a working number.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Chris_B Thank you for your reply. Is there any way of requesting that number when I join my new network do you know?
