Hi, can you have a voicemail set up that callers listen to the message but have the mailbox turned off so there is no ability to leave a message?
Thanks

Hi @Peter_W & @Brunsviga2
It is possible, dial into your Voicemail by calling 222, then in main menu select option 2 for greetings and 3 for holiday/business greetings. There you will be given the option to block people leaving messages (option 2) or allow messages to be left (option 1) whilst away. When you have selected the option you want you can then record the message you want them to hear whilst away.
Just remember to dial back in when back home to allow messages to be left again.

Hey there @Brunsviga2
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
With the personal greeting, this is only available if you have voicemail diverts enabled, and can't be used without a mailbox.
When you turn off diverts, it will just present any caller with a general message that you're unavailable.

Thanks for highlighting that option @gaz2023.
I didn't realise that option could be used without a divert, but when double checking you're absolutely right 😊

The voicemail system refers to this as an "Extended Absence Greeting" and has done for many years.
