Keep getting a No Service message while in UAE. Pop up message directs me to Settings or Dismiss but doesn’t allow me to access either.
when I eventually get into Settings there is nothing that I can do to access any local provider.
Relying totally on free WiFi areas for any access.
EE website is pretty useless offering no help at all. NO CHAT line either. No option available to purchase data either.
Never had this problem in UAE before nor in EU a few months ago.
HELP!!!!

Can you check that roaming, international calls and text are activated on your account?
Log into your on line account and then Menu - Manage Device - make sure you have activated roaming and international calls.
Or
From the MyEE app Current Usage - Controls - activate use phone abroad and make international and premium calls

Can you try logging into your My EE account online go to Menu > Account Settings > Parental and Data Controls > Enable Roaming and also Make calls abroad from the UK > Do they show as ticked?

Thank you for your suggestions. I tried this and Parental Control is ticked as are Buy more data and Use your data.
But both Enable roaming and Make calls abroad from the UK are blocked. When I tried to unblock them, the following message appears
! Sorry but we haven’t been able to set up your changes.
So what else can I do please?

If you can't enable the Roaming Abroad and the Call Abroad & Premium Rate settings of your online MyEE, you will need to call CS. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. over Skype. It should be free.
