No internet in Portugal

I had full access to internet in France and Spain but as soon as I drove into Portugal this afternoon my mobile internet stopped working. Why would that be? What’s different in Portugal? I am using WiFi to write this message. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

@Ber3 :  Instead of letting your phone auto connect to a local network, do a manual search of local network operators & try those.

Thank you. It didn’t  allow me to deselect up until this morning, but now it seems to be all fine
