Hello, I have problem.

I buy new sim card just before leave UK for my tour thru EU. But I put in my new phone out site UK.

But when I start my sim, I can't call or text. I receive text from network (like top up my account), all others messages, but I can't do anything with this sim. Even if I call to my new number in EE, I just receive text that some one wan to call me (and leave or not voice messages).

Is that a PAYG SIM? If so, Did you use that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network before they can be used abroad. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

Hi @cichywilk

Thanks for coming here.

This is correct, once you return to the UK and use the EE SIM card this will activate for you, and then can be used abroad.

Leanne.
