New phone can’t message or ring

I have recently had a new phone and cannot message or ring people . Can’t even ring EE. People can ring or message me, I can’t back.

Also PR and PE are on my contacts and I don’t know why what does that mean.

What was the reason for the new phone? Have you put a SIM into the phone? Does the phone show coverage indicators?

@Elmore-Ault , are you trying to use a new SIM card or the original SIM card that you have had? You do not need to use the new SIM card if your old one works, just put that one in and it should work ok.
