What msgs are you sending? Using what messaging app? Could they be MMS?

@Dellano1 If there only going via Wi-Fi or data they are not text messages they are instant messages and these only send/receive when using a internet connection be that Wi-Fi or cellular data.

HI I'm sending them through a msg I don't get a choice other than that . Is there a way of changing it ?

What is "a msg" called?

An ordinary text msg does not use or need data or WiFi. So they must either be MMS's or some instant messaging like WhatsApp.

@Dellano1  Are you using the text message app or a different app ?    Is this a new device?  If it is what was your old device?

Just through the normal msgs on the phone no app .

Are you using emotions/emojis in your texts? That would turn them into MMS.

Look in your Messaging app for something like Settings > More Settings > Multimedia Msgs > Set Restrictions & set it to Restricted or Warning.
