Almost every week my mobile service drops out for a good 24 hours. No text, calls or data. I get a text (when it gets through a gap in the fail) to say, "oh we've found a problem in your area, we'll have it back up in 15 hours". This is usually over 24 hours of downtime. It would be nice if they gave me back my outage via a bill reduction.
Does that happen?

I sick of it. Broadband reliability is shocking. Every day I try to open my usual websites and recently the slowness is infuriating. So much for The UK's Most Reliable Network.
I know there's nothing I can do about it, but a mini rant feels better.
And don't get me started on mobile. Every week it usually drops out for a good 24 hours. No text, calls or data. @Coyley Is this just all mobile broadband that you have the issue with? EE coverage checker, large pinch off salt required on that one but then again all the mobile operators are just as bad, we've got you covered duh!!!

@Coyley , do you have fixed broadband? You could then use wifi calling instead. Unfortunately problems can arise and so that is what happens, but if you do not get it back within a few days, they will give compensation, but I doubt if it is 24 hours though.

There's no provision for automatic credits or compensation due to loss of mobile coverage.

Fixed copper broadband. Just unreliable. Works fine then websites grind to a halt for a hour. Don't try streaming anything.
All Mobile services and broadband are worse. Nearly every week I get a 24 hour outage.
