I have a 24month 125gb SIM only plan which expires in 2025, it also includes the roam abroad pass as I travel to the US a fair bit.
I understand from checking previous posts that a fair usage policy exists limiting me to 50gb whilst in the US, this has never been an issue before as I travel for max 5/6 weeks at a time to the US through the year. However, this year I will be going travelling for at least 6 months (continuously) to the US so I have 2 questions which I couldn't see an answer for:
1. Is that 50gb in total or per billing cycle?
2. Is there a fair usage policy on how long I can be in the US using the roam abroad pass?
I would assume 6 months might be outside of the expected term of the roam abroad pass but if I know I have 50gb each month for a fixed period (let's say 2 months for example) then I'd only need to pay for a US SIM to put in my device for 4 months of my trip.
Thanks for any input someone can offer.

@Jimmy90 :
- The FUP is for 50GB data per billing month when on contract.
- There is a Stable Links policy which expects you to be abroad for no more than 2 months in any 4 month period.

Thanks a lot, was expecting something like that. Guess I'll be buying a US SIM for a couple of months then.

The stable links policy is detailed on page 5 of https://ee.co.uk/content/dam/ee-help/help-pdfs/ee-monthly-price-plans-310822.pdf - which also includes potential enforcement scenarios.
