I just called EE and was on hold for 30 minutes. The guy said he was going to check what kind of deal he could sort out for me because I have seen competitive deals offered with other companies and I wanted to compare. He made me wait for another few minutes then hung up on me and didn't call me back - which makes me think it was likely intentional because why would he not call and ask why we got disconnected?
Is there any kind of online live chat feature? Because I don't want to be sitting here on my phone on hold for hours. I don't understand why is there no call back service that remembers your position in the queue so you can just hang up and wait for a call. Isn't this supposed to be a company worth £12.5 billion? How can you not have these basic features?

I have a broadband contract only, would i be eligible for live chat option? I have reinstalled app, but still only option is call us.
