International Calling Code + Full Number Instead Of Contact Name

Hi folks!

Every since I went abroad a few months back and had data roaming on for the first time since joining EE. All my calls made to people in my contacts show as the full number but with the international calling code instead of showing as their contact name. Does anyone else's phone do this?

It started on my iPhone 14 PM and has kept doing it on my iPhone 17 PM. Is this a carrier setting that's been enabled and I haven't disabled?

I don't have dial assist turned on in settings and data roaming in my settings is also currently set to off while I'm back home in UK.

Sorry for the weird question but it's annoying me for some reason. 😄

Welcome to the community.

If you haven't already, can you please try resetting the network settings on your phone? To do this go into Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset network Settings > Enter PIN (if required). At this point, your phone will power off automatically, then switch itself back on.

Don't worry, you won't lose any personal data such as contacts or photos with this reset, but you will need to provide your password next time you connect to WiFi.
