I need help connecting to local network in northern cyorus

I have my phone on automatic network search, it is showing the local network but won’t connect. I cannot speak to anyone at ee, 150 won’t connect and just keep sending me links to this community chat.
I have done everything, I am scared to drive and explore because I have no phone if I get lost (it’s not very built up here)

Hi @Louisedewar

You need to activate roaming and international calls;

Log into your on line account and then Menu - Manage Device - make sure you have activated roaming and international calls.
Or
From the MyEE app Current Usage - Controls - activate use phone abroad and make international and premium calls

Roaming in North Cyprus is classed as Turkey so you're outside the EE. Data is expensive and you can find the rates here:

https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/roaming-costs/countries/turkey-and-northern-cyprus

If you can pickup southern Cyprus then that is the EU and cheaper depending on your tariff.

Thanks
