If my phone is completely broken, how can I talk to EE? The website says to call or text or use the app, and I can't do any of those things!
I came to my EE account to look for a potential mobile upgrade to give me a working phone but this experience is pushing me to leave EE asap. I was pretty annoyed with EE anyway as they've just 'discontinued' my SIM contract and moved me to one over 40% more expensive, and they told me they can't give me fibre broadband so I'm on something called 'G-fast' while all other providers are sending me offers for full fibre here at a lower cost than EE.
Is there really no way to have customer service live chat or audio/video calls from a computer?

You can contact EE-CS on 07953 966150 from any working phone. It needn't be an EE one, or a mobile.
Alternatively, an EE retail store has phones you can view in-person.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Thanks, I appreciate your reply. I have seen their contact number.
I accept what you are saying about using another phone but I shouldn't need to borrow someone else's phone or travel somewhere where there's an EE store to be able to contact my communications provider. I can talk to every other utilities provider through online chat, and I've honestly not come across any other major company where there's no online chat option.
Because EE couldn't give me any broadband option other than 'G-fast' they told me I couldn't have a landline. I must be one of many, many EE customers with no landline and it can't be an unusual situation for someone's phone to be broken, lost or stolen, so it seems like a no-brainer to ensure customers aren't reliant on channels that need you to have a working phone.
I am specifically asking whether there is an online (non-app) contact option that just isn't well-advertised.

It's of course natural that if you have a telephony service from a particular operator, and you have an issue with that operator, you may need to make contact using alternative means.
If there were alternatives, then previous posts would have advised you of it. Skype used to offer calling to UK 0800 numbers, but that option was recently withdrawn by them.
