EU Roaming

Hi, Im with a phone plan that has the EU roaming addon for £2.29 per day listed as active, but im not sure what this does and why I have it? I live in the UK so why do I need EU roaming? Thanks

This is a standard add-on which doesn't have any standing charge, but allows you to use your UK allowances within the EU for the fixed £2.29/day, as & when you do so.

There is no charge for this unless you do use your phone in the EU, for which you would also need to enable roaming first.
