I have 298 websites hosted on SiteGround. Any client using EE Mobile cannot access their website. SiteGround support said because the SiteGround support team is in Bulgaria, they cannot identify the issue with EE because they do not have access to EE mobile phone. This is ridiculous, I will take legal action for damaging my business.

Hi Steve
Thanks for the info, this is good to know, but do you know if there are any timescales as to when it will be resolved?
We are a small niche fuller bust clothing brand and had one of our garments featured on TV yesterday, the reaction was fantastic, but we were inundated with messages from customers saying they couldn't access our website.
I'm a member of a journalist group and have posted this issue on there this morning, and have already had comments from people saying they switched from EE due to this issue. I'm also considering changing my website hosting provider, so while BT/EE and Siteground are trying to sort this out, they are losing customers - and so are we!

This is extremely helpful, thanks Steve. I know everybody here would very much appreciate any ongoing (informal and understood to be non-official) updates you may be able to provide.
It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be any sort of formal process for monitoring or reporting progress on this matter - I'm sure a lot of the frustration stems from simply not knowing whether this might be fixed in a day or two, a week, a month, or multiple months. If it's the latter I'd probably move my sites to different hosting, or at least relocate the nameservers, but that's an annoying hassle and unnecessary cost if a fix is imminent.

I really hope it will be sorted by the end of the day but we are at the mercy of 3rd party infrastructure providers sitting between us and Siteground.
We are also looking at mitigation options to lessen the impact to you all.
I'll keep you updated here

Thanks Steve.. Good to hear that it is being taken seriously and being looked into. I'll look forward to hearing more updates

I sent an email out to our staff this morning about it, and I found that some EE users can access the website fine and others can't. its definitely a subset of users it's affecting as Steve confirmed.

Hi Peter,
Do you know if there is an update on this status, as we are also having the same problem. We have been a corporate customer of EE for the last 10 years, however as of 3 days ago no one in our company can access our own website using our EE phones or via the office PCs if going via the EE router. The webise is numerco.com and our website is also via SiteGrounds.
We really need to be able to make certain changes to our website on an intraday basis, so accesss is essential for us. On that basis, so we can be organised, can you confirm if this is a problem that is being worked on and is likely to be fixed at some point, or if this is likely to be the satus from EE going forward?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Best, Scott

Hey Scott
Get IT to change your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 everyone will be able to get on to the website again, although it will still affect people who are not aware of this band aid fix. It should help somewhat

We are a small office of 3 people and we do not have an IT department. It’s not realistic to expect customers like us to fix this problem, otherwise simply live with not being able to access our own website or email.
Thanks, Juliana

I know it's not realistic, but I don't work for EE. I'm just trying to lend a hand :).
Google how to change it's, it's surprisingly not difficult, if there's only 3 of you it will only take a few minutes

You're absolutely right and it needs fixing asap. But, the suggested solution will at least allow you to access your site and make the changes you need, so that those customers you have who don't use EE will be getting up to date information.
Even if you only do it on one device, changing the primary and secondary DNS servers (only) to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 will allow you to get onto your site. I manage about a dozen sites for clients and this is how I've been able to access them .
It's a workaround not a fix, but it will get you going temporarily.
