Hi.
I am trying to enable the 5G standalone on my iPhone 16 pro max. My tariff has the standalone.
I replaced my SIM card and the EE store in London told me, standalone will work less 24 hours.
After 2 days, I can’t turn on the standalone. I visited another EE store in London. They had no clue about the 5g standalone.
I rang the customer service and they told me to visit an EE store.
My question did anyone with psychical sim managed to enable 5g standalone in an iPhone 16 pro max?

As @chistery mentioned, it's working on their phone so although not yet officially on our list the compatibility is in place.
Let us know how you get on with the replacement SIM /eSIM

Oh got it. So, I will order a new SIM from the app. The sim, I got it from the store didn't work.

It is working. I ordered a SIM card from the EE.com. As soon as I placed the SIM card, 5G Standalone was enabled on my iPhone 16 pro max 🙂
