Terrible signal for the last 6 months

Trying to find out what the hell is going on with EE and there trouble 5G!

 

  The past 6 months and literally at this precise moment I had nearly full signal with 5G which does nothing! Eventually it jumps to 4G and finally my phone starts loading. I've set my phone to 4G in there past, sometimes it works better, other times it does nothing. This again with a good signal!

 

  I've had a signal check and as per usual EE said the signals fine which is a lie! The phonecalls keep dropping out during 5G which I even have work mates complain about, not just myself! To top it off 5G was advertised as an extra cost on the contract because the of the speed/quality of service and that we'll be able to actually use it! 

Tried to fill in a survey but also as usual, click the dislike box and then the page refreshes... Apparently 'something has gone wrong'... What a  suprise. 

 

I've been with EE for years but after the past 6 months of numerous calls from EE trying to contact me as my contract it nearly up for renewal (but they either list connection or just couldn't get through, it's your own fault!) I think I'm going to start looking else where. 

 

Very disappointed in the service off late... ☹️

Which phone do you have? Is the software completely up to date? 

 

Have you reported a problem on our online network status checker? That way our engineers will be able to investigate it and update you.

Can you clarify what you mean by "had a signal check" - was this a check of the predicted coverage in your location using the website tool ?

 

Do any other EE users in your locality have similar problems - do you know any friends or relatives you could compare service with?

 

It does sound like there may be an issue in your area, checking with other users would prove this one way or the other.

I only know of one other person on EE who had sometimes had similar issues. 

 

  Unless my phone has a poor aerial but if so it's in the last 6 months the issue has arisen. 

 

For info the phone is Oppo X2 Pro.

Are you able to try your SIM card in another phone to see if the same happens?

EE Signal at LE65 1FH, useless, customers services useless, "try a reset on my phone" Soft or Hard still no signal, not the only EE customer in LE65 that has the same issues. Do something EE or after soooo many years off to a different provider.
