Signal up and down like a yo yo

My postcode is xxxx xxx and I have zero signal it was intermittent yesterday too. I have checked the signal checker and says all fine.

Not great service from this network when I need my phone for work.

The status checker has two functions.

1: "Check coverage" looks at predicted service in your area, all things being well

2: "Check status" searches for known faults & issues that may affect service, with the option to "Report a problem" if required.

Did you use option 2?
