Mobile signal

Afternoon,

I would like for you to answer me a simple question. Why am I paying for a service, which I am not getting?

Today (18th), I have made numerous attempts to use/receive telephone calls to/from my mobile telephone.

When it eventually gives me one bar of signal, I recieve a message stating that I am not registered on the network.

I do not think I am rich enough in today's economic climate to waste money on a service that is not working and a full day of no signal from your network impacts on my daily and work life.

It would be great if you can get it sorted before the day is finished. If not, maybe after about 10 years with EE, I will need to choose a more reliable network.

Thanks

Ps. How about some of my money back for the Downtime and inconvenience?

Hello @buffyhels

Welcome to the community,

Have you checked here:

https://coverage.ee.co.uk/coverage/ee

You can also report it and receive notifications, as it also depends where you are, we would not know here, UK is a big country and it could be local, this is not customer service, but a public forum.

Faults can arise, and it will depend whether EE have access or whether it is on private land, the mast and whether they have to order parts if there is a fault. If you have broadband and your phone supports wifi calling, you can then make calls using wifi calling.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

@buffyhels  You might like to read point 1 of THIS  this forms part of the T&Cs you agreed too when using EE,  all networks have this as part of their T&Cs as issues can and do happen.

These symptoms could point at a variety of issues.

Do you know any other EE users locally, to check if they're having any problems? A network outage would affect all users in that area, indiscriminately.

If not, then there may be an issue specific to your account - which would need C/S to check further.
