Enabling 5G on my SIM only plan

I'm on a 20GB SIM plan with EE, and I recently installed the SIM to a new Pixel 10 Pro XL.

This works fine, however it only connects at 4G speeds. I know the phone supports 5G, and I can't see a way to enable 5G anywhere in my Android settings or within the EE app itself.

I'm not sure if I need to buy this as an add-on, or upgrade my plan. The EE app offers no such options. Any help would be appreciated.

@p_one : You shouldn't need to enable 5G especially if it present at your location.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult Check service in your area  to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area. You may also Report a Problem there.

Yes, I did use the coverage checker and confirmed that 5G is available in my area. I'm fairly central in London.

Not the Coverage Checker but the Service Status Checker.

On my Samsung there is Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > 5G preferred. Have you something like that switched off?
