RG areas of Berkshire are still very poor. 

Several black spots from M4 J10 into wokingham  Crowthorne,Sandhurst area that when I walk in the door and connect to WiFi my phones like disco with all the alerts

The areas you mention do look like poor coverage areas for sure, but you shouldn't be losing outdoor coverage entirely as you imply.

I would fully expect weak (but perfectly usable) outdoor coverage, and have to rely on WiFi-calling indoors.
