Call failed

I have recently switched from another provider to EE - I have an eSIM. 
I am able to call contacts in my phone, but unable to make calls to other numbers. For example, I can’t call 150 as says call failed? I couldn’t call my children’s school either?

Have you restarted the device since you transferred?
