5G performance in Birmingham

Profile closed
Not applicable

I have found exactly the same problem across a lot of southern Birmingham. The 5G performance is absolutely abysmal. From my knowledge it appears they have a significant backhaul problem; the voice LTE appears to be routed over a separate network or has significantly higher priority.

if you contact EE, you’ll just get the normal numpty response can I have your postcode et cetera.
The “three” network has exactly the same problems. I understand that they share some infrastructure with EE.

I also experience similar problems in Luton town centre.

I would enquire as to what the OP here considers their knowledge, but they've posted and subsequently closed their forum account.

Presumably posting for a rant rather than actually wanting assistance.

EE & 3 are different networks, and share infrastructure in exactly the same way as VF & O2 also share with EE.
