Using tethering with unlimited data

jack037907

I have unlimited data on my phone plan, i like to tether my phone to my PC because the wifi where i live is pretty terrible.

I got a message recently saying that Ive used up all the data i can gift to others, but i should have unlimited data and i wasn't aware that tethering to my computer counts as gifting to others.

Whats going on?

@jack037907  from your unlimited allowance you have a set allowance that you’re allowed to gift to other users on the same account as yours.  That set allowance is from the first 100 or 120 gig depending if you’re on a 4G or 5G tariff.  But if you use it before gifting then you get that message

Just ignore the Message if you dont Gift Data, it doesnt effect you Tethering.

Your Tethering Allowance is the same as Mobile Data Plan, in your case Unlimited.
