Just recently in areas where I used to get Internet access using mobile data I can't now??? It's happening a lot

Can you quantify "recently"? Are you across mid/west-Wales, the Midlands or Norfolk/East Angllia?

Do you have a 4G phone or a 3G one? Are you able to make & receive calls OK?

East of England phone 4g and yes calls, text etc. All fine.

Ensure that mobile data is enabled, and check whether symptoms persist after toggling flight mode. Does VoLTE (Android) or 4G-calling (Apple) show on-screen next to your coverage indicators?

Hi, sorry I made a mistake 3g/2g auto connect is my setting. I have other
choices of 3g or 2g. Volte is off

Is it a 3G plan?

It sounds like you have disabled 4G in your phone, and you may be in an area where 3G has now been switched off. Meaning your phone has fallen back to 2G which explains your symptoms.

There are two options you should change in your phone's settings.

1: Under network connections, ensure 4G/LTE is enabled.

2: Under the phone settings, ensure VoLTE is enabled.

These two options will put the phone back onto the 4G network and rectify your symptoms.
