I have unlimited data on my contract, and 3 family members on my account. I normally gift data to them each month, but have been unable to do this since data refresh on 18th June.
I get message saying website is under maintenance. I have tried updating the app, still unable to gift.
Can someone explain why?

Welcome to the community,
There are plenty of threads about the app if you are having problems.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling it, if that does not work, ring customer service and they will be able to reset your account.
You should be able to gift via the website by logging into your account.
