I've not happy with EE lying to me when i went into the shop last week to get my lock content removed so i can go on betting sites i don't no why you have locked me out never had the problem before

I went into an EE shop last week to get the lock content removed the guy said he had sorted it tuck my I'd in and he lied to me he hasn't sorted anything

@Toppo1984 : Are you on contract or PAYG?

  • On Contract: Follow Switching Content Lock OFF or ON .
  • On PAYG: On PAYG you can't control Content Lock from your MyEE. Instead you need to call EE with a credit card handy & pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18. Alternatively you can visit an EE store with some photo ID.

Im on  PAYG,Right so I rang up last week and they told me over the phone that if i don't have a credit card then i would have to go into EE shop with identification which i did because i don't have a credit card and i find it stupid that they can't resolve it over the phone anyway i went into the shop and the guy said that's all done and would take up to 24 hours and it's been 5days now and still nothing so he lied to me great customer service that is, so i rang up again and they told me again I've got to go into the shop again taking the **bleep** well I've had enough i will go woth to another Internet provider 15years with EE and no one could help me out joke of a company

I'm keen for this to be resolved for you, so If you don't have a credit card available, you'd need to pop into one of our stores with some I.D.

I've made an complaint on the website they said they will get back to me I shouldn't have to pop back down to the shop again though when they said it was sorted the first time round

You should get a reply within around 7 days.

I'm sorry, without a credit card, the only way to remove a content lock on Pay As You Go is to go to a store.

@Toppo1984  Have you checked the settings on your EE account to see if you can now manually change the settings from strict
