Hi,
I received a text from EE this morning (10th September, the start of this month's billing cycle) that I have used all my mobile data allowance for the next month and can't use my data without topping up until 10th October.
My mobile data had not even been switched on this morning (the phone is old and usually only on WiFi/airplane mode to preserve battery life) so I don't see how 5gb could have been used before I'd even left home! The 'data usage' section of my Android settings also say I have only used 63mb in this new monthly cycle, so nowhere near my 5gb limit. I have tried restarting my phone but there's been no change.
Any ideas?

For the avoidance of doubt, is your phone's data counter measurement period, synched with your billing cycle?
