Thanks for coming here.
You can turn mobile data off for the number in your EE app.
If you log into the EE app and select Settings and Permissions then 'use mobile data' which can be turned off and back on again.

Restricting usage of a device is an OS function, and is therefore something Apple or Android can provide - Android certainly allows for it, I'm unsure on Apple.
As a network operator, EE can restrict the use of network functions such as mobile data - but they have no control over the use of a phone when not connected to their network.
