Hi,
I’ve got an unlimited text and minutes plus 500 international global minutes and 100GB data. I sent a text to 150 enquiring about Roaming in Romania and it said that I can use my current plan at no extra cost.
Last time I went abroad in Europe, before Brexit I could use my data and minutes to receive make calls to the UK at no extra cost, and I could use the 500 minutes to make calls anywhere else.
However, when I went in a local EE store I was told that I must purchase Roaming. Now, I am confused. Do I have to purchase Roaming or I can use my current plan at no extra cost?
TIA

As it is part of EU, you may use your usual UK allowances there with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU or you may buy the Roam Abroad Pass for £10 / month.
If you are on contract, remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to check roaming is enabled on your account.
