Had a text message from EE saying that they are offering double data free of charge but that t&cs apply. There is no link to the t&cs and the only ones I can find on the ee website relate to a double data Christmas offer or sim deal from 2021.
There is also no mention of the offer in the Add Ons section on the app.
Can someone please link the correct t&cs?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @Mrs-Pa
Thanks for coming here.
Can you let me know what the full text says for the data offer?
Are you with us on pay as you go or pay monthly?
Leanne.

Hi, I’ve just had the text too, has anyone received the link? I’d like it if anyone can share. I have 3 phones on my plan, would the deal be on all 3? What’s the catch? Thanks anyone that can advise or share the link

This offer would be sent to you as a text message with details. This is not something we can send to you.
If you have had this offer and would like further details please call us on 150.

Hello,
I have also had a similar text that advises I can get double data, no mention of price, and says that Terms apply with NO link to the terms. Here is the text:
"BT and EE are one family. And because you're a BT and EE customer, you get double data on EE.
Simply reply DOUBLE to this text to add it to your account. Terms apply."
Please can you either provide the details of the Terms, so I may ready them over, or supply a link to these Terms?
I find it very frightening that such a message would be sent without giving customer access to the full T&Cs, stated in the message, of the offer to allow them to make a fully informed decision. I strongly believe that this message needs reviewing before being sent to further customers as if there are Terms, access to them should be provided immediately.

Hi,
That's wonderful to know where to get access to the terms, however, stipulating that on the message would have been much appreciated and much less hassle.
I don't see why the end of the message couldn't have just read, "for the Terms, please call 150". Then, not only would I have not worried this was a scam, I also wouldn't have had to spend nearly and hour trying to find the answer online to only find this forum thread that hadn't actually answered the question when posed previously by other users.
I am unsure if there is some way to get this feedback actually looked into or addressed but that would be most appreciated.
Thanks
