I have turn off my mobile data but EE are still charging me for using data why is this.

EE doesn't charge you at all for using data. It only charges you for buying data add-ons & its add-ons last a specific duration.

 

Are you on contract or PAYG?
  
What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?
