Hi,

I’m currently serving overseas for a few months and can’t share my data with other account users, as I normally do. Is this something that can be resolved, or am I paying monthly for something I cannot use?

Thanks,

Steve

@SWJJ : Where are you? Did this happen just after your billing date?

Hi XRaySpex,

I’m in the Falklands. No, I think it happened part way through the billing month.
For background, to reduce costs I have mobile data turned off so I don’t burn through money. I have WiFi access and this is all I use while I’m away.

If you are abroad on a country where you can't use your UK allowances, as the Falklands are, when your billing date occurs you can no longer gift data until you are back in UK. You may not have tried to gift earlier than part way thro' the month.
