This morning I received a message that all my data is used.
I've been on Wi-Fi since Wednesday (19th) last week.
On Friday (21st), I checked my balance and had 10.2 GB remaining. I checked my app data usage and I cannot see anything that amounts to 10 GB used while on mobile data. In the past few years, I rarely used half of my data allowance, which is around 12 GB a month.
I can see the jump in the data usage, but no app used that much. What's remaining is operator data usage. Can someone please clarify what's happening?
Thank you.

Hi James,
I'm not sure, they didn't mention if a support ticket was raised. Data was added to my account to help me till next month and that's it.

Hi @TimAhKin,
I'm happy to hear some data has been added to your account to keep you connected.
Don't hesitate to get back in touch with Technical Support if it happens again.
James

Hi Tim, in my case, EE reinstated the entire monthly allowance. They're still investigating, and I've got an email contact in case I get the same trouble next month. I've been told to report it as soon as it hits the 80% unexpectedly. When they said I used FIFA that had cropped up in someone else's complaint, YouTube has been a known issue in the past couple of weeks - the operator thought it was sorted out, but it clearly hasn't been, as my 11.3mb of use apparently equates to 43% of my data use (approx 9gb on their system) - they say it's correct as reported by my SIM, but I don't agree. My phone data usage matches theirs exactly each month, except this rogue month. They are giving us the data back, blaming YouTube for the FIFA video, etc. Don't admit liability, but say they will reinstate data if it happens again.
