I have come to the end of my minimum term Data sim plan. When I log onto my ee account to change to a different plan it says it will add another line? What is that about? I just want to change my plan as there are cheaper plans for the same as what I am getting just now

Is this a pre-paid data SIM?

You should be looking at "Upgrade" from your online MyEE.

I tried that but it shows wifi routers with plans. I don't need a new router as the one I have still works perfectly

No option for SIM-Only, perhaps further down the page?

Then you'll need to call CS to upgrade to SIM-Only.
