I’ve been charged 11 times for data pass when abroad! The add which I have been using at all - connected to WiFi!

As I understand for info I got when abroad I have unlimited data included in my plan so I don’t understand what I been billed for?

It a lot of money for something I haven’t been using! On top of it the internet wasn’t working outside house without WiFi!

Hello @Patty99 ,

Welcome to the community,

For account issues, you will have to speak to EE customer service, as we have no account access in the forums. For going abroad, you do not have unlimited data, but up to 50GB when abroad on contract and half that when on pay as you go.

The data you have unlimited is for the UK, for abroad, you need an add on if not using wifi and it still only allows what I have just written above otherwise you will have to pay, same goes for calls and text, you would need an add on or pay for those too.

If connected to wifi, then that is free to use, unless the place you are staying charges you for it.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi @Patty99,

Welcome to the Community!

@Schockwave is correct; you will not have access to your full data allowance outside of the UK if you have unlimited data.

Can I just check where you are currently travelling, so we can get a better idea of why you might've been charged?

All sorted now. Unhappy customer, but will keen for further to not buy any additional adds! Thank you
