How much is your plan supposed to cost? Bear in mind you pay monthly in advance + for the days between when you started & the date of your 1st bill.

My plan is £23, they are charging me an extra £50 as if I have been with the company for more than a month for a previous service. The sim they sent me already had a debt or I don't understand the reason for the charge

Hi @Jocelyn96.

Welcome to the community.

I know it would be a shock to see a bill that was higher than expected. If you get in touch with our billing guides, they can bring up your account and have a look over the bill to see what has happened.

Does anyone know if I can cancel my contract with them? They charged me an extra amount of £50 the first month when my plan was £23. I have 11 days with my new plan and they already charged me when it is not yet the collection date. Does anyone know how to cancel the contract?

@Jocelyn96  You are billed for the month ahead not in arrears.   What does the bill break down say about the £50

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@Jocelyn96 : You may cancel with 30 days notice but you may have to pay large exit fee.

However, if you ordered by phone or online you always have a statutory cooling-off period up to 14 days after delivery to cancel your order FoC. If you ordered in-store you have no such "change-of-mind" right of return.

Hi @Jocelyn96

Welcome to the EE Community

You can check the breakdown of your bill through your online account

It may have a temporary £50 deposit for access to additional services added to your first bill. If you contact Customer Care on 150, a guide from the billing team will be able to confirm, and also remove the £50 deposit requirement if applicable.
