I have a pre 2021 BT 4G router and I am unable to unlock it. I have followed the unlock procedure and enter the IMEI, this either give me an error code which states "please try again, Sorry, something went wrong on our end. Please enter your IMEI again or come back later, or it takes me to the next stage and I get the unlock code. But when I click the next step at this point it takes me back to the start. I have contacted EE customer services who said they would send an email which never materialized.

You'll need to speak to EE CS again about this issue if the automatic online process doesn't work.
