Hello, I bought a 5g smart hub with 18month contract which is due to expire. Can I I just upgrade the sim to a new sim only deal? Or does it have to be a special contract for the smart hub

Yes, you may upgrade to a SIM-Only contract. You'll probably find a phone SIM is cheaper & has more data than a data SIM.
