I'm looking at purchases a used RTL6300 (outdoor) / RT5010W (indoor) router combination. It has EE branding on it. Will I be able to use it with the Three network or will it be locked? Is there any way to get it unlocked?
Also, does EE provide any new outdoor router / indoor access point combo's for purchase? I can't find any online.

Hi @Joshdhy7
Welcome to the community.
You can check the IMEI number on our unlocking tool. If it is locked, you can request the unlock there.
I'm not familiar with access point combos, are they like WiFi extenders?

OK, thanks @Joshdhy7
They're likely to be unlocked already, but you can check them on that unlocking tool and request the unlock, if needed.

Ok thanks. Is there a time limit by which devices can/can't be unlocked within?
Do you have any history on these devices? Why EE stopped providing outdoor routers for a stronger signal capture?

No there aren't any time limits for unlocking, it can be done any time, @Joshdhy7 🙂
I'm not sure why, they just aren't part of our current range at the moment.

Hi @Joshdhy7.
I can't seem to find any information on when these were stopped being part of the EE range.
