HH70VB 4GEE Won't Boot

Hello.

I have a HH70VB white 4GEE router which won't boot. All the lights come on, then go off one by one until only the power light is on.

I've tried to do a factory reset, but pushing the reset button doesn't do anything.

If I 'ping' the router from cmd, I get a reply from the router so its not totally dead.

I've tried contacting support, but they weren't able to help. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's normal to preserve the battery. Check its Connection Status by logging into it &/or seeing that it's broadcasting its SSID.

Hello.

It's a mains powered unit. I can't login to it via the browser (page cannot be displayed after a few minutes) and it's not transmitting it's SSID. I've left the unit it on for an hour in case it was stuck in a boot loop.

I've found an Alcatel HH70VB image online, so might give that a go if all else fails but have since seen that the old backdoor into the router has been removed 😔

Try this -

Power off Device.

Whilst off, push in the Reset Button and keep it firmly pushed in during the whole process, as follows, Power back on, wait at least 1 min then release Reset Button.
