Grace period to extend SIM only 4GEE WiFi Mini

I have a 4GEE WiFi Mini with data only SIM. This was 30G for 2 months. The time period is about to expire. I can extend use of this by purchasing a monthly payment plan. Is there a time limit from time period expired to availability a monthly payment plan ? If I do not purchase a plan, will my 4GEE WiFi Mini become useless, and need a new SIM card ?

@Phil027 : What do mean by a "monthly payment plan"? Is it a monthly contract or just a monthly data add-on? Or maybe a 30-day recurring PAYG pack?

Other than the usual going into hibernation after 6 months of non-chargeable use you can buy a data add-on at any time.

Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

I meant "a 30-day recurring PAYG pack". But thank you, that answered my question. I have 6 months before my SIM expires and I need a new one.

I'm not sure you can buy a PAYG pack from a PAYG data SIM. I think they are only got from PAYG phone SIMs. Are you able to text ALL PACKS to 150 from it?

Don't assume just cuz you are using it you are keeping it out of hibernation. You gotta be spending hard cash on it. I reckon you have about 4 months before it goes into hibernation.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
