EE Wifi X / Wifi hotspot

Hi - I am an EE mobile customer and we also have 2 X EE mobile broadband SIMs for temp use in 4G routers

Are we eligible for access to the EE Wifi X network, formerly BT Wifi X or Wifi hotspot services?

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

There isn't currently any hotspot access included with EE mobile plans for web browsing, but you can take advantage of our WiFi Coverage Boost service.

Do these 150,000 hotspots include existing BT wifi X hotspots?

Yes, it is powered by BT's existing WiFi network.

Hi @mickotabs,

EE WiFi Coverage Boost won’t be available everywhere. Instead, it will only be available in the 150,000 hand-picked locations that we’ve chosen where our 4G/mobile network can be boosted.

Sorry, but not for the first time, there is confusion over WiFi Boost Coverge as linked and BT / EE WiFi https://ee-wifi.ee.co.uk/public/ee/index.htm  the latter not currently free for EE customers.
