EE 4G Mobile Broadband... basic question

Hi, so... we are about to move into a new property. We have no current broadband there. We had 'Now' broadband at our old property. They do not offer service at our new property. We want a basic broadband service at our new property (we are not gamers, not very heavy users - just emails, a bit of social media and on-line accounts) with the least disruption to the new property (no holes in walls, no drives dug up etc.). We are considering mobile broadband (my wife is currently on an EE Sim only mobile deal with EE). My questions: is EE Mobile Broadband good for this? and do we have to have the mobile phone in situ to use the mobile broadband service (e.g. what if the EE mobile is not at the premises, can we still use broadband at the premises?). Any help/advise would be most appreciated.

Should be OK for you as you are not gaming.

You do not need to have your EE mobile around while you use it.
