Data only router

I have a 2021 EE router with a data only sim. I am on a two week break and day five my broadband has failed. I have a number of remotely accessible devices some of which are security related and therefore important to me. The question is - can I reset my router remotely like I can on my mobile devices when in the home via Wi-Fi?

TIA

You cannot reset any EE router remotely.

Where are you?

Is it on contract or PAYG?

Hi @MikeS6

Thanks for posting.

What problems are you having with the router?

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Hi Leanne

I’ve been connecting to home security successfully since last Sunday but now there is no connection to anything.

I’ve had this before and know the solution, and wondered if there was a way of remotely resetting my router?

Best wishes,

Mike Stone

Hi @MikeS6

Sorry this is not possible to reset the router remotely, you would need the router with you.

Leanne.
